This was a thing for other kids right? When you were little having a time where your obsession was actually managing to pull an all-nighter? Continue reading “Pulling An All-Nighter”
I had two very different and mixed set career ideas as a little kid. One came from a love of animals, while the other came from the opinion of my mom.
Surprise, surprise they’d be so different right?
So the first one, animals? Veterinarian.
Second one, mom induced? Dentist.
Yup. It’s weird I agree. Continue reading “Prompt: As A Kid What Job Did You Dream Of Having As An Adult”
What can I say, a young teenager and even I can see role models and their effects on the rest of the population. I’ll be honest here first; I’ve never really kept track of the Kardashians and their show at all. I saw absolutely no reason too. The show seemed pointless, brain numbing and frankly, I would much rather watch some Criminal Minds or Anime.
Of course, that doesn’t mean I can avoid hearing about this famous family on social media, on tv, everywhere. I don’t watch them and yet they are able to appear in my life. Is that a good thing? Continue reading “Styles of the Kardashians”
This post was inspired by Daily Post Word Prompt – Phase
Because let’s face it, we all have different phases for different books, genres, writing styles, etc. That list can probably go on forever. I’d love to know why we do it, but I don’t know a book reader that doesn’t ever have some phase for a certain type of book at the very least. I mean where does it come from?
Our minds literally decide every once and awhile, hey, I like that kind of book, I will only enjoy that kind of book. Frustrating but true. So as book readers we just sit back and live that life and other people question it and we’re just

I CAN’T WIN
You see, sleep and I have an interesting relationship. And by relationship I mean I get dragged along without a single choice while it does whatever the hell it wants. And my body and mind has to follow and adapt.
I wish I was on the better side of this relationship and gif. Not happening.
Age old saying that for some reason people relate to other people. I do not get why. Oh yea, that’s right because it doesn’t work with books.
I mean, guys you can tell me not to read a book by its cover all you want, but when I go into Chapters, it will be the first thing that catches my eye sweet heart. Too bad so sad, it is a basic part of being human, we go to what attracts are attention. I have certain kinds of books that do that really well for me and caught me like none other when I first found them. Usually, I can get a pretty sweet read out of it too.
For example: Continue reading “Reading A Book By Its Cover”
First and foremost, change perspectives on what this “dream body” is.
The first lesson in this post:
Learn to love your body and its flaws
That doesn’t mean you can’t try and improve on it. I’m in the process of doing that myself. I’ve been going through a tough time lately and for me that usually means eating a lot more shitty food and avoiding the gym like the plague. It sucks and it’s a cycle I know happens because then I just feel worse and worse until I’m on my feet again. So, I’ve gained some weight I don’t really want and plan on working it off. Not for anyone else though. It’s for me and my confidence.
It’s so important that when working on yourself, you focus on your mindset at the same time. Continue reading “How To Build Your Dream Body With HIIT”
It’s an age-old argument. And the majority of avid book lovers are going to be for the movie side. I’m one of you, but my opinion still manages to get swung around. Here’s how this tale of Vampire Academy’s transition from book to movie went for me.
Catastrophic and tragic are the two words that come to mind. Continue reading “Movie vs Book: Vampire Academy”
This relates back to my review of Ender’s game Continue reading “Book Ruined – Lines”
