If you live in a snow country like me, you know that sometimes on a cold night there is literally nothing better than curling up in some blankets with a book. Whether it’s hardcopy or on your phone like me, it’s the best thing ever. Also my most common way to procrastinate. Sometimes the best thing to do at these times is find a good book to reread. Here’s my list of books I go to the most for rereads. Continue reading “Favourite ReReads”
Here it is. All those things that make you fall in love with books? Forget about ’em. How about what makes you walk away. Throw the book? Hide it in your closet to never be touched or read again? Here are some of my book turnoffs that have made me do just that. Continue reading “Book Turnoffs”
Thanks for the tag from Michelle @ Addictively Turning Pages I loved reading yours and this is going to be interesting I hope.
A character appearance that you misread or imagined differently
…Considering it’s a character appearance that I missed I no doubt have more than I realize so let me think this one through. Cause I’m really not sure about this…
Wait I remember one now! Nehemia from the Throne of Glass series. I kind of pictured her either as one of those golden brown haired girls with tanned skin or I went in the opposite direction with white hair. Nope turns out according to Throne of Glass Wikia she has dark hair kept in small braids, brown eyes and dark skin. Wayyyyy off there Shayla.
In my defence though, I have a habit of switching the way I imagine them pretty often actually, especially when it comes to re-reading. As I re-read, I re-imagine as well.
A character name that you’ve been pronouncing wrong
Rhysand. Again we are back to Sarah J. Maas, lady you are killing me! It’s pronounced Rees-sand meanwhile I pronounce the beginning like rise so rise-and. I can’t help it! Don’t even bother me about having a rant about this book and then tripping over the name.
Then give me a name like Adelina Amouteru from the Young Elites series and I am perfectly fine. Not a single hitch

I actually found this idea while going through my reader and it seemed like a fun idea for me to go over some things. Good for me and anyone who wants a basic sum up of the weirdness that has been me this month.
First though! Shoutout to all of my readers, followers and all the people in between for following along on my blog. It means so much to have just made it to 600+ views and I can’t wait to continue through the summer months on this adventure.
Special shoutout to Sakshi Gour as well for giving me my first nomination, the One Lovely Blog Award. It really did mean a lot, so thank you again.
Let’s start with the blog achievements because it was actually just last night talking to Michelle that I realized, holy shit I have made some achievements. Fangirl, disbelief and excitement. Three words to sum up that reaction. And I needed to get homework done too, talk about distracting, but let’s face it, blogging is so much more fun than homework. This post was inspired by Daily Post Word Prompt – Phase
Because let’s face it, we all have different phases for different books, genres, writing styles, etc. That list can probably go on forever. I’d love to know why we do it, but I don’t know a book reader that doesn’t ever have some phase for a certain type of book at the very least. I mean where does it come from?
Our minds literally decide every once and awhile, hey, I like that kind of book, I will only enjoy that kind of book. Frustrating but true. So as book readers we just sit back and live that life and other people question it and we’re just
