Favourite ReReads

If you live in a snow country like me, you know that sometimes on a cold night there is literally nothing better than curling up in some blankets with a book. Whether it’s hardcopy or on your phone like me, it’s the best thing ever. Also my most common way to procrastinate. Sometimes the best thing to do at these times is find a good book to reread. Here’s my list of books I go to the most for rereads. Continue reading “Favourite ReReads”

Review: Blood Bound – Mercy Thompson #2 by Patricia Briggs

285205Under the rule of science, there are no witch burnings allowed, no water trials or public lynchings. In return, the average law-abiding, solid citizen has little to worry about from the things that go bump in the night. Sometimes I wish I was an average citizen…

Mechanic Mercy Thompson has friends in low places-and in dark ones. And now she owes one of them a favor. Since she can shape shift at will, she agrees to act as some extra muscle when her vampire friend Stefan goes to deliver a message to another of his kind.

But this new vampire is hardly ordinary-and neither is the demon inside of him.

Briggs Month continues, check out my review of the first Mercy Thompson book here.Β  Continue reading “Review: Blood Bound – Mercy Thompson #2 by Patricia Briggs”

Review: Moon Called – Mercy Thompson #1 by Patricia Briggs

71811Mercedes “Mercy” Thompson is a talented Volkswagen mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. She also happens to be a walker, a magical being with the power to shift into a coyote at will. Mercy’s next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And Mercy’s connection to those things is about to get her into some serious hot water…

This is the kick-off to my Patricia Briggs Month go at reviews and talk. Using the idea from the blog with my friends from before where the others had an Armentrout Month

Moon Called

By Patricia Briggs

β€œA werewolf tossed me against a giant packing crate while I was trying to rescue a frightened young girl who’d been kidnapped by an evil witch and a drug lord.”
― Patricia Briggs, Moon Called

What can I say? Mercy must have one of the best senses of humour than any other character from my other books. Wonderful and love her so much. This is also a wonderful sum up to the book.
Stay tuned for my review of this book.
