Dream and dream big, one of my many life mottos. In particular, travelling the world is one of those dreams on the very top of my list. I’m nowhere near rich, but somehow someday I’m going to get that done and that’s what this new series of posts is all about.

This is ultimately my dream destination. Where I want to go the moment I have enough money saved to be able to. Because this place just looks absolutely spectacular. Let’s not forget that one of its main languages is french and for me, the ultimate opportunity to test out my bilingual abilities. Hopefully by the time I can make it to this trip they won’t be too awful.
What first captured me about Bora Bora though is the experience you can get at the resort. And I first found out about it on Twitter.
Stunning. Rooms over water and even with glass bottoms to take a look underneath you. I could not imagine going through my life not experiencing this kind of thing. Not to mention, that water! Canada has some wonderful lakes, but that ocean…breathtaking. More like breath-stealing. As in drool. And even if I, for some reason, don’t make it to Bora bora someday there is no way I am missing out on an over water bungalow. For more information: Four Seasons – overwater bungalows.
Going more into the nature side of things, because I couldn’t go on a vacation without nature and its views. There is a coral reef surrounding this island! The snorkeling possibilities. I discovered it last year when I went to Mexico with my mom and brother and fell in love with snorkeling. The sights of it in Mexico were beautiful. In the waters surrounding Bora bora I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like. Also, according to usatoday, it’s in healthy condition. The fish and the sights and the absolute wonder of it. Even the thought leaves me breathless. I already know pictures can’t even begin to express how amazing it is. I live by the motto that experiencing life is always so much better than seeing pictures. A camera simply cannot capture the essence of beauty within these sights.
Then there’s always the shopping to be done on the main islands. And in recent research I found out that Tahiti pearls are beautiful and a wonderful, must have souvenir.
Likewise, taking a jump back to the sites here; hiking. There is a dormant volcano at this place and there is hiking. According to more sites, the island is small enough that the trails can be conquered in a couple of days. There go my plans of spending all my time in the water at the beach. 
So beautiful, can I go to the beach now? Oh wait, I live in Canada. Too cold. Let’s go get Tim Horton’s instead and cry.

My travel obsessed self is salivating now. I feel like this post is just a taunt and slap in the face to myself. Sighhhh.
