I was fake crying telling Roxanne she didn’t love me because she was trying to exorcise demons from my room (she’s been binge watching Supernatural, so blame it on that…plus my light was flickering in my bedroom). And to console me she reached over and grabbed my wrist and my phone proceeded to go off with the most cheerful ding ever. It was exactly on the moment too, not missing a beat, just, Roxanne grabs my wrist and boom, ding from my phone.

Best real-life movie moment ever.

Side note: I am noticing a trend in Roxanne always being involved in these moments…

Weekly? Dose of Cute

I’m bringing back a post I did once before on my old blog with a group of friends. Basically just adorable pictures of kittens I called Daily Dose of Cute. I think I’ll be switching it into weekly, just something to add in nicely to this blog. What do you guys think? Is this something you’d enjoy seeing weekly, or just once or twice a month?

Quick explanation. So I have a math assessment to do for IB right now and I chose to study the times tables in ways I don’t feel like explaining. This meant I was testing my classmates privately and timing them.
My close friend Roxanne was doing the test. Roxanne’s first language is french and she uses a technique in french while doing the times tables. That meant she was mumbling numbers under her breath in french while trying to go as fast as possible at the same time. Now that’s funny enough. Either way, I know french so I was slightly following along, noting the technique and how it works. Then suddenly in the most vicious and angry voice “Motherfucker!”

And because it’s a test I have to be quiet while timing her. So now I’m sitting there trying not to laugh and just ended up laughing my ass off for a good five minutes once she was finished.

I don’t know if I explained it well, but peoples, just picture it in your head. This petite adorable Roxanne sitting in front of me mumbling in french then suddenly, BOOM. Motherfucker. And she just continues. Mumbles in french again.

So…I fell into a trap. I didn’t mean too. It’s all Michelle and Emilie’s faults! And mine I suppose since I chose to look at their bookstagrams…They were just so cute! 

Anyways, long story short. Today instead of getting started on my lengthy homework, I have set up my own bookstagram. And it’s so much fun dammit, I’m going to regret this for a long time to come. But I’ve already had so much fun with it I also can’t help myself. So for those of you blogging and bookstagramming, check out mine and follow, I’ll follow back!

Farewell 2016 – I Won’t Miss You

Everybody, on every social media site, is going on and on about how awful 2016 was. And for once. I agree wholeheartedly with the internet. Much like others, I’m very happy to leave this year behind and hope 2017 will be full of many more wonders and happy memories waiting to be made.

I guess a look back on 2016 isn’t too bad an idea though for good measures of being a good blogger.

Tasks Of A Lazy Day

Lazy days are important!

As  I get closer to ever impending adulthood the fact that  I’m supposed to adult more often settles in a bit too. With that I realize; I really won’t get lazy days, or rather the opportunity for them, nearly as often. This brings me to what I believe must be partaken in so that a lazy day is used to its fullest.

A character appearance that you misread or imagined differently

…Considering it’s a character appearance that I missed I no doubt have more than I realize so let me think this one through. Cause I’m really not sure about this…

Wait I remember one now! Nehemia from the Throne of Glass series. I kind of pictured her either as one of those golden brown haired girls with tanned skin or I went in the opposite direction with white hair. Nope turns out according to Throne of Glass Wikia she has dark hair kept in small braids, brown eyes and dark skin. Wayyyyy off there Shayla.

In my defence though, I have a habit of switching the way I imagine them pretty often actually, especially when it comes to re-reading. As I re-read, I re-imagine as well.

A character name that you’ve been pronouncing wrong

Rhysand. Again we are back to Sarah J. Maas, lady you are killing me! It’s pronounced Rees-sand meanwhile I pronounce the beginning like rise so rise-and. I can’t help it! Don’t even bother me about having a rant about this book and then tripping over the name.

Then give me a name like Adelina Amouteru  from the Young Elites series and I am perfectly fine. Not a single hitch

Summer Begins

I originally wasn’t going to do this post, or at least I was going to put it off because I’m a procrastinator, so this is inspired by Daily Post word prompt Clouds. Thanks for kicking me into gear with random words.

Anyways, summer has arrived! 

I made it through exams, ignoring the results because…yea tough semester kicked my ass suffice to say. Moving on! This is one of my last summers before going off to university and the next stage of life so I really do want to make the best of it. Officially a grade 12! And it’s weirding me out.

In honour of summer coming up I am making a summer 2016 bucket list because obviously I always need to make goals I won’t complete, at least not in one summer. I’ll still try and hopefully this will keep me busy, away from boredom and full of inspiration.
